Recently Ron Edmonds celebrated his wife's 70th birthday at station 27.  It turns out Ron is a volunteer with the Chapel Oaks Volunteer Fire Department Co 38. Ron joined in 1957.

They have 11 children, 32 grand-children, 16 great-grand children.

Ron got a look at the Rescue Squad and Engine 271 "He was Quoted saying" a lot has changed since I was a volunteer member at 38.

Ron - it might be years since you were at station 38 but always remember you will always be a volunteer and always be part of the volunteer family!
